At the bottom of every screen, you can view Help Hints by putting the mouse over the area of screen you would like assistance for.  Help Hints are displayed to explain what each field is for, and what you may wish to enter there.

Enter your information in each field on the first screen including:

 Once your information is entered, click on the ‘>’ arrow to move to the next screen.

On this screen, you can add all of your web page links that you wish to showcase.  To add your links, click on the ‘Add Pages’ button and follow the on-screen prompts.

To move your selections up or down in the list, use the arrow buttons circled in green.

If you wish to preview a link, simply double-click it while viewing the full list on this screen and it will open in your default web browser.

Should you wish to remove one of your links, select it, and click on the ‘Remove Page’ button.

When you enter your Pages, you can remove, re-order and preview them easily. 

In your e-book, your viewers will only see the text description.  Your links are kept secret so that no one will know where your web pages are, or that they are even web pages.  This is useful for creating many versions of pages on your website, then linking them to the secret frames in the software.

You can create your web pages to target very specific audiences, and even incorporate customized content; including email signup forms, a special website location with a login that is only accessed via your e-book, or any other content you wish to promote to viewers.
 

Once all your Pages are added, click on the ‘>’ arrow button to continue to the next screen.

By disabling right-click options to your viewers.  Simply check the box to activate the feature in your e-book.

You can save all your settings, so that they can be quickly loaded should you wish to recreate or edit your e-book content at a later date.

Set your e-book to display on your viewer’s full screen, or set a custom screen size.

Check the box ‘Expire after X days’ and enter a number such as 7.  This will cause your E-book to expire after 7 days of use.  To allow your customer to unlock it after the days expire, be sure to enter a password.

To just lock the E-book, check the box ‘Lock E-book with password and enter your password.  Remember not to loose this pass-code, as it cannot be recovered.  You will need to distribute the pass-code to your customers to unlock the E-book. 

You can check the box ‘Create Rebranding Tool for This E-book’ to create a rebranding tool that will be created to ONLY work for THIS e-book when you compile it.  This a great way to allow affiliates to set their own Name, Copyright, URL, and promote your e-book for you!  Remember that once your affiliate uses this tool, the link inside the e-book will change to their URL. 

*All of the framed pages are kept secret from your Affiliate, and they cannot be changed. 

OR:

 Select 'Active Web' for a simple Internet page check to www.yahoo.com when the E-book starts to ensure the user has an active Internet connection BEFORE loading the main E-book screen (and pages).

Select 'Viral Email Activation' to utilize email activation at E-book start-up.  This requires that you setup your web-server to handle the PHP, HTML, and Database functions for this feature.  Please see the easy instructions in your Start Menu for the PHP Activation System.

In the Software Name field, enter the name of the software as you wish it to appear in your Activation System.

In the Activation URL, enter your web-server address as www.yoursite.com/activation with no http:// AND no ending slash.  This must point to the directory that your PHP Activation System files are in.  In this example, the files would be in the directory called “activation” under the main website HTTP directory. 

Click on the ‘…’ button to select a folder on your computer where you will save your e-book to.  All files will be saved to this folder.

To create your e-book, click on the  arrow.  If any corrections are needed, the software will prompt you.

 Now that you have created your e-book, let’s open it and make sure everything looks the way we wanted.

 We selected an ‘Active Web’ check, so the e-book will first ensure that the viewer has an active Internet connection.  This is so that your Pages will display properly, and the viewer will never see a page 404 (unless a page address is incorrect).

 Click on the Proceed button to load your e-book now.

As illustrated in the above image, the e-book loads with your Software Name, pages and URL link right at the bottom of the screen for your viewers to see (and click on).

Your Pages are loaded as both a drop-down menu, and as menu choices for your viewers:

Your viewers cannot type a URL into the drop-down box; this helps increase the page security for you.

You can select all of the different Pages, and the content will load in the screen.  If you have selected to block right-click, the viewer will see a custom right click menu as follows:

The About screen in your e-book will also reflect the information you entered in the main software:

If you are satisfied with your e-book, you can upload to your website for your visitors to download, you can sell it, or you can send it through email.  With the small file size, the choice is yours!

To edit your e-book, open the main application, select File, Open, and select your settings file.  Make any changes you wish, and create your e-book.

When you create your e-book, you can check the box ‘Create a Rebranding Tool’ to create this new program.

You need the two files:  “ebookbase” and “RebrandingTool” to use this program.

To rebrand your e-book, double-click on the RebrandingTool program and you will see the following screen:

You can distribute these two files to your affiliates to market your e-book content for you!  They can change only the basic information shown above, and all your Pages stay secret so that your URLs are never shown to anyone except for you!

When you change the information and click on Rebrand>>, you will see a new file created in the same folder called ‘NewEbook1’.  This is the affiliate e-book for them to distribute.  If you open the new e-book, you will see the changes reflected on the screen.
